Hunting at Christianssæde is conducted according to sustainable principles.
We nurture nature to ensure good conditions for diverse and healthy wildlife, and in this way, hunting makes a long-term and positive contribution to the nature around Christianssæde.
The forest
Christianssædeskoven offers pressure hunting for fallow and red deer, as well as stalking and deer hunting for medal-winning and shootable fallow deer. For more information about hiring pressure hunting and deer hunting, please contact forest ranger Kirsten Hvidberg-Hansen.
Deer Park
The 1,000 ha unfenced park provides unique living conditions for the large wildlife population, which consists of 500/600 fallow and red deer.
The forest is home to both rare white fallow deer and old fallow deer that have reached an impressive age of 10-12 years. No game or birds are released at Christianssæde, and to protect and respect wildlife, shooting is kept to a minimum.
